Features of the Ranger 7000 Industrial Bench Scale Series
- Precise: The Ranger 7000 scales are among the fastest and most precise industrial bench scales featuring one-second stabilisation time and up to 75,000d or 350,000d display resolution.
- Built for Heavy Duty Use: The Ranger series is developed to thrive in rugged and harsh industrial environments. Robust features include; IP54 cast metal housing and a sealed metal indicator to ensure durability.
- Innovative Software: Combining the intelligent SmarText 2.0 software and a 4.3-inch graphic display provides advanced functionality with a simple navigation interface.
- Design Features: Checkweighing lights with selectable operating and audible signal settings, several selectable operating languages, selectable environmental and auto print settings, stability indicator, overload/underload indicators, selectable brightness settings, auto-dim, auto-sleep, auto tare, and chain tare.
- Flexible Modular Design: OHAUS Ranger 7000 scales comprise two interconnected modules: a terminal and a base. Depending on the user’s needs, the unit can be operated with the terminal either remote from or attached to the base, with a single interconnect cord 2 metres long.
- Weigh below: The Ranger 7000 scales are equipped with a weigh below hook that offers the functionality to perform specific gravity tests and weigh items that cannot be easily placed on the weighing platform.
- Nine Applications: The scale can be configured to operate in various application modes to simplify complex tasks and minimise manual calculations. Available applications on the Ranger 7000 series include:
Display Icon |
Application Function |
Weighing: Determine the weight of items |
|
Counting: This application is used to count functions of uniform weight. |
|
Check: Compare the weight or count of a sample against set target limits. |
|
Formulation: For recipe making and compounding. |
|
Percentage Weighing: Measure the weight of a sample displayed as a percentage of a pre-established reference weight |
|
Filling: The filling mode is used to fill a container to a target weight. An on-screen progress bar displays the filling status. |
|
Dynamic: Used to weigh an unstable load. The dynamic mode setting takes and displays an average of the weights. |
|
Density Determination: Determine the density of solids. With the weigh below hook, it is possible to perform specific gravity testers for objects that cannot be placed on the weighing pan. |
|
Differential: Calculate the difference between initial weights and sample weights. |
