New Zealand Customs Registration for Imports Over $1,000
To ensure smooth and timely delivery of your orders, we're sharing a recent change in New Zealand's import regulations. Effective immediately, all imports into New Zealand valued over $1000 NZD require the importer to be registered with a New Zealand Customs client code.
Here's what you need to know:
• Who needs a client code: Individuals or companies importing goods into New Zealand over $1000 NZD will need a client code, even if duties and taxes are being paid by a third party.
• How to apply: If you don't have a client code, you can apply for one through New Zealand Customs. The application process typically takes a few days. Visit their website for more information and to apply Click Here.
• Planning for timely delivery: We recommend applying for your client code as soon as possible to avoid any delays in processing your orders.
To ensure the smoothest shipping experience:
1. Check your order value: If your order exceeds $1000 NZD, confirm that you have a valid New Zealand Customs client code.
2. Apply for a code: If you don't have a code, visit the Customs website to apply by Clicking Here.
