The 798 series are digital calipers with large, easy-to-read, high contrast LCD screen with IP67 protection against coolants, water, chips, dust and dirt.
- This model has a metric/inch conversion with a measurement range of 150mm/6 inch with 0.01mm/0.0005 inch resolution.
- Built with hardened stainless steel with a fine adjustment thumb wheel and lock screw for sliding jaw.
- Has high quality guide surfaces for smooth slider movement.
Note: The 798A models do not have Data Output which is only included in the 798B models.
The 798 Electronic Caliper features a large, easy-to-read, high contrast LCD readout. It includes IP67 protection against coolants, water, chips, dust and dirt often found in machine shop environments. Its induction type linear encoder system and Inch/millimetre conversion makes Starrett precision measuring tools the right choice for any job.
This model measures 0 to 6 inches/up to 150 mm with a 0.01mm/0.0005 inch resolution.
