The HI93712-01 are reagents for the colorimetric determination of aluminum using a compatible benchtop or portable photometer. The HI93712-01 are high quality reagents that are pre-measured, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate colorimetric measurements. These reagents are part of a method that is an adaption of the aluminon method. The reaction between the reagents and aluminum produces a reddish tint in the sample. By adding the reagents to the sample, a reaction will take place and a compatible photometer can be used to determine the concentration from the color that is produced. The results will be displayed in mg/L (ppm) of aluminum. These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 0.00 to 1.00 mg/L aluminum.
