The Skywatch AWS offers three functions: it measures, displays and warns their user both visually and audibly of air speed, temperature and humidity.
Minimum and maximum values for temperature and humidity can be adjusted individually. Air (wind) speed can measured on two levels (Hi & Lo). The control unit, which operates independently from the sensors, is designed for multiple applications.
The Skywatch AWS is particularly recommended for:
- Agriculture and horticulture: plant protection, irrigation schemes, cultivation in green houses, produce storage, risk of frost to harvest, etc
- Agri-foodstuffs: storage and processing of produce and foodstuffs, product drying (tobacco, cereal), wine cellars, etc
- Management of comfort levels in public places: air conditioning, archives, museums, concert halls, etc
- Meteorology: study of environment, etc
- Botany and zoology: vivariums, terrariums, zoos, etc
Six values can trigger the alarm (two for wind, two for humidity and two for temperature). These values are settable in rising edge or in falling edge.
The duration of alarm can be set for every alarm.
There are four relay outputs (kit 4 described below). The inactive state of each relay can be selected from no (normally open) and nc (normally closed).
The user assigns a relay output to every alarm. Several alarms can be assigned to one relay output.

- Measuring range: -20 C / -4 F ? +80 C / 176 F
- Alarms: 2 levels, min. and max., programmable in 1 unit pitch
