Ratek micro-plate blocks are designed to suit Ratek 2 place heaters (DBH20D) or larger, but will also fit many other brands of dry block heaters. The micro-plate blocks occupy 2 standard block positions, so in 3 and 4 place heaters they can be used in conjunction with regular blocks, or the DBH40D can accommodate 2 micro-plate blocks. Block dimensions are L150mm x W95mm x H50mm and made from solid anodised aluminium. The solid construction gives rapid heat transfer
and therefore rapid block heat-up when used in a Ratek dry block heater. Temperature uniformity is excellent and all blocks are supplied with a thermometer
hole for reference. Customised blocks are also available upon request if a standard block is unsuitable.
