Starr Digital Force Gauge FGC-Series is designed for use in a wide range of industrial applications throughout Australian industry. specifically used for testing tension and compression forces.
This model is aimed at users wanting a simple and cost effective tension/compression testing solution. Built using the same quality materials and components, it features 3 different test modes for Peak, Tracking and Preset (which activates through a user-set value).
The FGC uses an integrated S-beam type load cell to measure the applied force in both push and pull directions. The user interface has keypad buttons for easy operation and is fitted with an overload protection system with an audible warning and visual bar graph alarm to reduce the chance of misuse and damage.
Use for manual handling testing and OH&S; to determine safe work load limits when pushing and or pulling materials handling equipment such as pallet trucks, lift trucks, trolleys, bins, fire doors etc. Other uses include state regulatory testing of window and door fixtures, latches, levers etc.
