Electrical testers have always been a common item in a Sparky's toolbox and this model is certainly worthy of a place in any handyman's toolbox! The first thing you will notice with this tester is the rugged housing which is designed for maximum safety. Using double moulding, the probes feel good to grip and are IP64 rated. Testing voltage is simple with the two probes being contacted and the unit's LED display will indicate to the nearest voltage up to 690V and polarity will be indicated so if it's DC, you know which one is positive. Not only that, but this unit will also check for low impedance, continuity, do a single pole phase test and show rotary field indication. A handy LED light is included for dimly lit locations like a roof cavity. Powered by 2AAA batteries (included) but voltage test works without batteries.
