| The SNiP-STP is a 'Sensor Node Integrated Package' for LoRa, LoRaWAN or FSK communication of real-time soil temperature measurement for continuous
soil monitoring.
The base SNiP-STP integrates 1x AD-NODE and 1x THERM-SS Stainless Steel Thermistor to a site's unique network, communication and power requirements. The THERM-SS Stainless Steel Thermistor measures soil, air or liquid temperature. THERM-SS sensors can be used in a wide range of applications from soil monitoring and climate control to concrete monitoring and explosive testing. THERM-SS has a measurement range between -40 C and +100 C. Standard cable lengths are 5m, 30m and 50m however custom length cables are available AD-NODE: For High Resolution Analogue & Digital Sensors The AD-NODE is designed for those requiring precision in their analogue and digital measurements. With a 24-bit ADC, the AD-NODE supports two RTDs, a 0 to 10V with compressing range and a 4 to 20mA input. Each of the four dry-contact digital inputs is capable of simultaneously sampling at 1 kHz, with periodic reporting. Settings on the device can be altered remotely via LoRaWAN or locally via USB. - LoRaWAN low-power long-range connectivity
THERM-SS Stainless Steel Thermistor The stainless steel temperature sensors (THERM-SS) are high quality, low cost sensors for measurement of soil, air or liquid temperature. The sensor consists of a thermistor embedded in a protective stainless steel body. THERM-SS sensors can be used in a wide range of applications from soil monitoring and climate control to concrete monitoring and explosive testing. THERM-SS has a measurement range between -40 C and +100 C. Standard cable lengths are 5m, 30m and 50m however custom length cables are available. - Measurement range between -40 C and +100 C
