The STDO11 is a galvanic dissolved Oxygen (DO) probe with a measurement range of 0-200 percent. An advantage of galvanic probes is that they do not need to polarize (warm up) before calibration or measurement unlike polarographic electrodes that take 15 minutes to several hours to warm up.
