The PCE-2900-ICA is wireless material hardness for metals with hardness scales such as Vickers, Rockwell, Brinell, Leeb, Shore and Tensile. It measures the hardness according to the Leeb rebound principle. An impactor bounces on the workpiece via a firing pin and the metal hardness is measured via the rebound. The PCE-2900 material hardness meter is equipped with a backlit colour display.
The buttons on the PCE-2900 are illuminated. Thus, the display can be read well even in low light conditions. The impact device is connected to the material hardness tester via a cable. The material hardness tester PCE-2900 has an internal memory of 6 x 100 measurement sets. The memory thus allows a documentation of the measured values. Via the integrated USB and WiFi interface, the measured values can be transferred from the material hardness tester via software to a PC.
The material hardness tester is powered by commercially available 1.5V AA batteries and has a battery life of about 50 hours.
