The SNiP-PRS is 'Sensor Node Integrated Package' for LoRa, LoRaWAN, FSK or CAT-M1 communication of real-time precipitation and rainfall measurements for continuous environmental monitoring of a particular site.

The base SNiP-PRS integrates 1x AD-NODE with 1x PRs-1 Small Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge to a site's unique network, communication and power requirements.

AD-NODE

The AD-NODE is designed for those requiring precision in their analogue and digital measurements. With a 24-bit ADC, the AD-NODE supports two RTDs, a 0 to 10V with compressing range and a 4 to 20mA input. Each of the four dry-contact digital inputs is capable of simultaneously sampling at 1 kHz, with periodic reporting. Settings on the device can be altered remotely via LoRaWAN or locally via USB.

PRS-1 Small Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge

- The PRS-1 is a small rain gauge sensor with a unique single spoon tipping bucket that is a reliable low cost high quality rain gauge ideal for small weather stations, rainfall measurement, irrigation/soil moisture management and drain water measurement in drip irrigation.
- Comes standard as machine calibrated with 1 mm resolution. Accuracy: +/- 5 %. With minimal maintenance, the outer shell is made from ASA (molded thermoplastic) which makes the surface easy to clean, and extremely resistant against the sun's UV radiation; and it is frost and heat resistant. The product is widely used in the automotive industry as well as several other outdoor applications. With a simple design for a very long durability (10-20 years).
- The electronic printed circuit board with individually tested and high quality reed switches protects against extreme weather conditions such as extreme frost or heat. This includes corrosion from salt water due to the PCB is coated with weather resistant varnish.
