The SW-1 Thickness Gauge Step Wedge blocks are made from 1080 Low Carbon Steel and have 4 different step heights. These are commonly used to verify and adjust the calibration of your ultrasonic thickness gauge and transducer before or during NDT testing.
The step wedge block allows users to select a 'step' thickness closest to the material part(s) under inspection, or for 2-point calibration to improve testing accuracy.
