UV Index monitoring station - IC-SNiP-UVI-ML

ORDER ME IN
Product code: IC-SNiP-UVI-ML
UV Index monitoring station. Includes: 1 x SKU-440 with AL-120 mounting bracket and levelling plate, MFR-NODE with LoRaWAN communications, 6.5Ah rechargeable li-ion battery, 10W Solar Panel and SPLM7 mounting system for node and solar panel.

The SNiP-UVI is a 'Sensor Node Integrated Package' for LoRa, LoRaWAN, FSK or CAT-M1 communication of real-time UVI-Index for continuous environmental monitoring.

The base SNiP-UVI integrates 1x MFR-NODE and 1x SKU-440 to a site's unique network, communication and power requirements.

The SKU-440 UV Index Sensor has a response closely matching the Erythema Action Spectrum, the damaging portion of the solar radiation spectrum associated with sunburn and skin cancer.

MFR-NODE

- The Multifunction Research Node has been designed to provide flexible communication, sensor and power options.
- The MFR-NODE supports SDI-12 and 2 x dry contact digital inputs as well as optionally 2x differential / 4x single ended analogue inputs. The MFR-NODE supports sensors with higher power requirements; a solar panel can charge either the internal lithium-ion battery or both the node and sensor can be powered by an external 12V system (e.g. battery or mains source). Optional CAT-M1 provide an option for remote installation and in areas outside the range existing LoRaWAN networks. The optional multiconstellation GNSS ensures you won't lose track of your device.
- The MFR-NODE has an onboard 8GB SD Card to provide data logging capabilities and full data redundancy in the event of temporary loss of communications or dropped packets, ideal for research applications.

SKU 440 UV Index Sensor

- This sensor has a response closely matching the Erythema Action Spectrum, the damaging portion of the solar radiation spectrum associated with sunburn and skin cancer.
- The UV Index sensor gives a voltage output which can be easily scaled to UVI values with an appropriate meter (eg: Skye Apollo Display Meter, SKA 400), where UVI values range from 0 (low risk of sunburn) to 11+ (dangerous levels of UV).
- The sensor is calibrated against a reference traceable to National Standards under full sunlight conditions, and so is ideal for long term datalogging on meteorological stations.
- The SKU 440 is fully waterproof (IP67).
- Each sensor is provided with its unique radiation response curve and Calibration Certificate.
