Use this practical kit to measure air velocity, volume flow and air temperature at air outlets. The testo 440 multifunction measuring instrument and the vane probe feature an intelligent calibration concept, ease of use and maximum convenience for the adjustment of air-conditioning and ventilation systems.
testo 440 air velocity and IAQ measuring instrument features:
- Clearly structured measurement menus: the volume flow is precisely calculated thanks to convenient input of the surface area of the air outlet. Timed and multi-point mean calculation, average volume flow, current reading and min./max. values are displayed
- Other practical measurement menus, e.g. long-term measurement, volume flow measurement with a funnel, etc.
- Easy storage and evaluation of measurement data. Measurement data memory for up to 7500 measurement protocols, which can be read via a USB port and further processed as a CSV file on the computer (e.g. with Excel)
- Can be expanded with a large portfolio of digital probes
- Practical magnets for easy attachment of the measuring instrument to metal surfaces (e.g. ducts)
- Automatic detection of probes, e.g. vane probe
- Large, backlit colour display
Vane probe (100 mm diameter) with Bluetooth/temperature sensor features:
- Use the vane probe (100 mm diameter) to conveniently determine air velocity, volume flow and air temperature at air/ceiling outlets
- Measuring range: +0.3 to +35 m/s, -20 to +70 C
- Endlessly versatile: a universal handle can be connected to all probe heads - so you can take care of more applications using less equipment, and save space too
- The Bluetooth handle makes it more convenient to carry out your measurements and guarantees less cable clutter in the case. It transmits the readings to the testo 440 air velocity and IAQ measuring instrument, from up to 20 m away
- Practical button on the handle: to store individual readings for multi-point mean calculation or to start and stop measurement series for mean calculation over time
- For convenient measurements at ceiling outlets: if required, you can also fit the vane probe with the extendable telescope with 90 degrees angle and, if necessary, the telescope extension (both can be ordered separately; in combination 2 m long)
- Intelligent calibration concept: the testo 440 air velocity and IAQ measuring instrument remains in continuous use, since only the 100 mm vane probe head is sent in for calibration
- Can work better with optional probes and accessories for more accurate measurements in different work scenarios
