First and only weather station in its class to use frequency hopping spread spectrum radio technology to transmit weather data wirelessly up to 300 m. Includes Vantage Pro2 console/receiver, integrated sensor suite (ISS), and mounting hardware. ISS includes rain collector, temperature and humidity sensors, anemometer, 12 m anemometer cable, solar radiation sensor, UV sensor, sensor mounting shelf, and solar panel.
The Wireless Vantage Pro2 Plus and WeatherlinkIP Data Logger Bundle is a powerful weather station and internet data logger that businesses and budding meteorologists can use to record the weather. Post your weather data directly to the Internet without a PCWeatherLinkIP does all the work for you. Simply plug the data logger into the back of your console or Weather Envoy and connect the cable to your cable/DSL router. Within minutes, you'll be able to see your weather data live on the Internet. In addition, WeatherLinkIP lets you automatically upload data to third-party weather sites including Citizen Weather Observer Program, the GLOBE Program, and more.
Temperature and humidity sensors are enclosed in our patented, solar-powered, 24-hour fan-aspirated radiation shield. Shield combines fan aspiration and passive shielding to minimize the effects of solar radiation.
ISS is solar powered. Electronic components are housed in a weather-resistant shelter. Console may be powered using the included AC-power adapter or with three C batteries (not included).
The mounting Pole is sold separately.
Wireless range is up to 300 m outdoors, line of sight. Typical range through walls under most conditions is 60 to 120 m. Add wireless repeaters for distances up to 2.7 km.
