The multiparameter Kestrel-3000 is one of the most popular anemometers offered by Instrument Choice. One reason is that the Kestrel-3000 delivers heat index data, so individuals and particularly athletes can be informed about weather conditions requiring more frequent hydration.
Measures:
- Temperature (air, water and snow)
- Relative humidity
- Wind speed
- Windchill
- Heat index; and
- Dew point.
|
The Kestrel 3550AG is pocket-sized, rugged, easy-to-use and equipped with on-unit data logging and wireless data retrieval for monitoring and reporting. This model offers an extensive range of measurement parameters, making it is a trusted weather guide for spraying and general agricultural applications.
Measures:
- Temperature
- Relative humidity
- Wind speed
- Windchill
- Wind Direction
- Heat stress index
- Dew point temperature
|
- Barometric pressure
- Altitude

Kestrel Anemometers 5000 Range
The 5000 series of Kestrel Anemometers are designed for professional and semi-professional use. These portable handheld meters incorporate features usually found in much larger weather monitoring devices without forgoing precision and reliability.
There are three options for viewing data from any 5000 series anemometer on a smartphone or a computer:
-
Kestrel 5000 to Mobile: “Link-enabled” means a device in the Kestrel 5000 series can wirelessly transmit data straight to a mobile application on your phone (Apple and Android).
-
Kestrel 5000 to Computer (Wireless): To wirelessly send data to a computer for review, you will need both a LiNK-enabled Kestrel 5000; and the Kestrel LiNK dongle (sold separately).
-
Kestrel 5000 to Computer (Wired): The Kestrel USB data transfer cable interfaces any Kestrel 5000 with a computer to view data using the LiNK software. You will need a Kestrel USB Data Transfer Cable for 5000 Series (sold separately).
The Kestrel 5000 is the “baseline” model of the series - however, there’s nothing basic about this compact and professional anemometer!
The IC-0850LBLK stores up to 10,000 date and time-stamped data points so you can track changes in the environment over time. Easily view changes in the form of graphs on your Kestrel 5000's display and upload results to your PC or Mac.
