How to Connect the IC-Center521 4 Channel Data Logger to the Testlink App via Bluetooth
The Center521 is equipped with Bluetooth Wireless Technology, allowing users to wirelessly monitor the collected temperature measurements in real-time or transfer logged data to computers or mobile devices.

How to Connect the IC-Center521 4 Channel Data Logger to the Testlink App via Bluetooth
Materials
You will need;
- IC-Center521 Thermometer 4 Channel Data Logger
- Bluetooth adapter (included)
- Screwdriver
- Mobile phone (App available on Google Play and the Apple Store)
Method

- Use a small screwdriver to open the Bluetooth adapter compartment on the back of the unit.
- Install the Bluetooth adapter into its compartment and gently push up the adapter into the connecter.
- Reinstall the compartment cover and fasten the screw.
- On your mobile, ensure your Bluetooth is switched on. Then download the "TestLink" application. Links for the application can be found in the "Additional Links" section of this document (below).
- Ensure the Center521 Bluetooth pairing mode by checking for the Bluetooth symbol on the screen.
- If the symbol is not present on your Center521, press the SET key.
- "BLUEtoothH" will display on the LCD. Press the HOLD key until "ON" is shown on the second half of the LCD.
- Then press SET again to return to the main screen.
- When Bluetooth is enabled on the Center521, return to the mobile application and press "SCAN".
- Wait as the mobile application scans for available devices.
- The available devices will list on the application. Select the device you wish to connect and wait for a connection to be established.
- Once connected, the screen displays the device name, connection status and device battery status and four navigation options below. These are;
- Real-Time Reading: Entering into this essentially mirrors the LCD of the Center521. You can view the selected thermocouple type, adjust the readout between Celcius or Fahrenheit, see the temperature for all four channels and set high and low-level temperature alarm limits for each channel.
- Graph Display: Under the graph display submenu, you can view a real-time colour-coded temperature graph from each of the four channels. You can adjust the sample collection rate, as well as reset and record temperature information. The recorded data can easily be saved to the app and the device.
- Data Download: Data download allows you to download previously logged data from your Center521. Once downloaded, you can save it to your device by pressing "Download". You can also choose to view the retrieved data in a graph or as a text list.
- File Open: Within the "File Open" submenu, you can open, share and graph any of your previously saved data files.
