Button Functions
Below the 24-character LCD screen, there are five easy to navigate buttons. These are:
- CAL: The CAL button is used to calibrate all parameters and select buffers for automatic buffer recognition setup.
- MODE: Pressing MODE switches between conductivity, TDS or salinity, pH and temperature display combinations.
- UP and DOWN selector keys: These selector keys are used to move through the setup selections.
- ON/OFF: The ON/OFF key powers the unit on or off and invokes battery saver mode setup.
Conductivity/TDS/Salinity Mode Selection
- Press the MODE key until "COND" and the up and down arrows display on the LCD.
- Use the arrow keys to select between conductivity, TDS or salinity measuring mode.
- When your required measurement mode is on the screen, press MODE again. If salinity or conductivity are selected, the device will return to measurement mode. If TDS is selected, you will need to choose a TDS conversion factor.
To set the TDS conversion factor:
-
- Use the up and down selector keys to adjust the TDS conversion factor.
- When your required conversion factor is on the display, press MODE to confirm, the device will automatically return to measurement mode.
