How to Setup the OHaus IC-AX223 Adventurer Pro Analytical/Precision Balance

How to Setup the OHaus IC-AX223 Adventurer Pro Analytical/Precision Balance

You will need;

  • The OHaus AX223 Balance
  • The Balance Pan
  • The AC Adapter
    1. Open the glass door and install put the pan into place.
    2. Plug the AC adaptor into the point on the rear of the unit and then plug into mains power.
    3. Before use, level the balance as this is key to ensuring precise results. To do so, adjust the feet until the bubble is in the centre of the circle. If required, this device also has an excellent Level Assist function. To access this, go to Main Menu > Balance Setup > User Settings > Level Assist. Depending on the location of the bubble that appears on the LDC screen, you follow the image and rotate the balance's feet accordingly.
    4. When levelled and before first used, you must calibrate the OHaus IC-AX223. Find the AutoCal (Auto Calibration) feature, then press 'CAL' and wait. The screen will display Calibration in progress.
    5. When Calibration is complete, the screen will display Calibration Complete. Press Close, you're your balance will return to the main measurement screen ready for use!
