The first device off Testo's production line was a modest electronic thermometer. Today, the range has expanded to include a wide variety of temperature measuring instruments that include:

Testo Data Logger Types

Testo’s comprehensive series of data loggers can be divided into three categories based on the intended use. These are;

1. Mobile: Mobile data loggers are suitable for short-term internal data storage and frequent read-out.
2. Stationary: Stationary loggers record and store data over a more extended period with less frequent data read-out.
3. WIFI/Online: WIFI/online data loggers enable you to monitor environmental information in real-time and access the readings on any smart device or computer from any location.

Testo offers two types of mobile data loggers for use in transport and storage.

1. Testo 174

Testo 174 data loggers are small and light, easy to transport and reposition. These devices collect and store information, displaying results on an LCD. Users can easily transmit collected data to a computer via a Testo interface (sold separately), and measurements can be scrutinised using the Testo ComSoft software.

Testo 174 T 1-Channel Temperature Mini Data Logger Product code: 0572-1560   Testo 174T is ideal for temperature measurement in refrigerators, freezers, cold rooms and cold shelves.

Testo 174H Testo 2-Channel Temp/RH Mini Data Logger with wall bracket Product code: 0572-6560   Testo 174H monitors the climatic conditions in situations like warehouses, offices and the manufacturing sector.

2. Testo 184 Series

Each Testo 184 USB transport data logger operates as a stand-alone logging solution, capturing a series of individual temperature and humidity readings in a contained space for the duration of a shipment. When the need arises, stakeholders can extract shipment data for compliance and quality assurance programs by plugging the USB into a computer and generating a PDF file - no software is required!

Testo 184 H1 Temperature and humidity USB transport data logger Product code: IC-0572-1845   The Testo 184 H1 is designed to monitor relative humidity and temperature during transport. Common examples include; the shipment monitoring of fruit and vegetables, humidity-sensitive medicaments, or cut flowers.

Testo 184 G1 Temperature, humidity and shock USB transport data logger Product code: IC-0572-1846   In addition to its ability to take precise temperature and humidity measurements, Testo’s 184 G1 has a 3-axle acceleration sensor that records impacts and vibrations, making it suitable for applications like transporting high-quality electronic products, delicate machinery or valuable art objects.

Testo’s stationary dataloggers are loggers of choice to record and store data over extended periods where infrequent read-outs are required. There is three series of Testo’s stationary data loggers:

1. Testo 175 series

Testo 175 models are designed with extensive measurement memory and supplied with mounting brackets for prolonged ambient condition recording. Measurement values are saved on the logger and transmitted to a PC via USB cable or an SD card, where they can be read out and analysed with Testo ComSoft software.

Testo 175 T1 1-Channel Temperature Data Logger Product code: 0572-1751   The Testo 175 T1 is a compact data logger with internal temperature sensors for the long term monitoring of refrigerated and deep-freeze rooms.

Testo 175 T2 Temperature Logger Product code: 0572-1752    Testo 175 T2 offers two measurement channels; an internal sensor and a connection for an external NTC temperature probe for measuring the core temperature of goods.

Testo 175 T3 2-Channel Temperature Data Logger Product code: 0572-1753   Testo 175 T3 records two temperatures at the same time via external sensors. This feature makes the Testo 175 T3 ideal for monitoring the temperature spread between a heating system's feed and return flow.

Testo 175 H1 Testo 2-Channel Temp & Humidity Logger Product code: 0572-1754   Testo 175 H1 is used to control indoor climatic conditions in spaces like warehouses, offices, and production areas.

2. Testo 176 series with display

The Testo 176 series of multi-channel data loggers measure multiple parameters over multiple channels in situ. Readings are measured, displayed on an LCD and then saved on the Testo 176 unit. Collected data is transferred to a PC via USB cable or SD-card, where it can be read out and evaluated with the help of the Testo ComSoft software.

Testo 176 T4 4-Channel Data Logger With Thermocouple Product code: 0572-1764   The Testo 176 T4 has four external sensor connections (thermocouples type T, type K and type J). This feature makes the logger is an excellent choice for applications like simultaneous feed and return temperature measurements in underfloor heating systems at (up to) four measuring locations.

Testo 176 H1 Testo 176H1 – 4- channel humidity and temperature data logger Product code: IC-0572-1765   The Testo 176 H1 is perfectly suited for parallel temperature and humidity monitoring in spaces like warehouses.

Testo 176 P1 Five-channel pressure, temperature, and RH data logger Product code: IC-0572-1767   The Testo 176 P1 measures pressure, temperature and humidity simultaneously. This logger is most suitable for long term monitoring and documentation of ambient conditions in rooms such as laboratories.

3. Testo 176 series without display

The LCD-free 176 logger has the same functionality as other 176 series loggers - data collection, retention and download – but doesn’t have an LCD. This design omission makes the series more robust and impact-resistant, extending its working life, even when deployed in rough, dusty or cold surroundings.

Four-channel humidity and temperature data logger Product code: IC-0572-1766   External sensor connections and robust metal housing allow the Testo 176 H2 to simultaneously execute temperature and humidity measurements in extremely testing conditions, e.g., in warehouses and manufacturing environments.

The Testo Saveris 2 WiFi data logger offers a modern solution for monitoring ambient conditions in storerooms and workrooms.

A base Testo Saveris 2 monitoring system comprises at least one Testo Saveris 2 data logger, a WIFI connection and a Testo Cloud account. From there, you can expand your system to include an unlimited number of data loggers.  Saveris loggers transmit all measured values directly to the Testo Cloud via WIFI for access and sharing. In addition, limit value violations are immediately reported via email or (optionally) via SMS. This feature supports the off-site management of critical processes.  

Saveris 2 - T1  Testo Saveris 2 - T1 Single channel wireless logger Product code: IC-0572-2031 The single-channel, all-in-one Testo Saveris 2 – T1 is a simple, flexible and reliable solution for measuring and monitoring ambient temperatures in buildings, warehouses, server rooms, and offices.

Saveris 2 – T2 Testo Saveris 2-T2 - WiFi data logger with 2 external NTC Product code: IC-0572-2032.   The T2 has two channels and two connections for external NTC temperature probes. Choose a specialised NTC probe for refrigeration, surfaces, inline pipes, food or liquids technical temperature monitoring.

Saveris 2 – T3 WiFi data logger with display and 2 connections for TC temp probes Product code: IC-0572-2033   The Testo Saveris 2-T3 data logger allows up to 2 connectable thermocouple temperature probes; Types K, T, and J (sold separately). The Testo Saveris 2 T3 is perfect for monitoring extreme temperatures for industrial machinery, manufacturing, laboratory equipment, and refrigerators.

Saveris 2 H1 Testo Saveris 2-H1 - WiFi temperature and humidity data logger Product code: IC-0572-2034    The Testo Saveris 2 H1 has internal sensors for reliable temperature and humidity measurements. This data logger is excellent for monitoring food storage areas, refrigerators, workrooms, offices and museums.

Saveris 2 H2 Testo H2 External Probe Humidity Data Logger Product code: IC-0572-2035 The IC-0572-2035 offers advanced temperature and humidity monitoring via an externally connected humidity sensor with or without a cable (sold separately). The Saveris 2 H2 is recommended for cold storage areas, workrooms, ventilation ducts and storerooms.

Testo 160 Testo 160 IAQ Product code: IC-0572-2014   The Testo 160 indoor air quality data logger monitors temperature, humidity, absolute pressure and CO2. This device works best in indoor places where people gather - like, schools, preschools, conference rooms, open-plan offices, auditoriums and museums.
