Introducing the LT45 Colour LED Light Meter

LED lighting is increasing in popularity – it’s less expensive, brighter and more energy-efficient than standard incandescent lighting. However, not all standard light meters are capable of measuring LED light. Enter the LT45 Colour LED light meter; a meter is specially built to measure LED light – both white and coloured - and standard lighting. This capability makes the LT45 ideal for monitoring and optimising environmental lighting levels in many workplaces.

Key Features of the LT45 Colour LED Light Meter

  • Colour light meter: The LT45 measures white, red, yellow, green, blue, and purple LED and standard lighting in lux or foot-candle units.
  • Manually log data: Users can manually store and recall up to 99 light level readings.
  • Enhanced accuracy: Measurements are cosine and colour corrected, and the spectral response filter nears CIE luminous spectral efficiency ratings.
  • User-friendly functions: A range of useful functions ensure measurements and data collections are a breeze. Functions include; Min/Max/Average/Data hold and auto power off.
  • Complete kit: The LT45 comes with everything required to begin taking LED light measurements, including; the light sensor with a protective cover and coiled cable expandable to 1.5m, the digital handheld display, a 9V battery, and a hard carrying case.
  • Overload indication: The LCD screen will show “OL” at the upper left-hand corner when maximum light levels are exceeded.
  • Sampling and display update rate: Measurements are taken, and the display updates 2.5 times per second.
  • Zero adjustment calibration: Users can perform easy zero adjustment calibration with the cap over the sensor.
  • Luminous intensity calculation: The LT45 can also calculate luminous intensity (CD) using a distance-to-the-light value programmed by the user.
  • Automatic range: Automatic range adjustment optimises accuracy and resolution.
