About Davis Instruments

For over 50 years, Davis Instruments has successfully designed weather monitoring instrumentation that straddles both professional and home use. They have an outstanding global reputation for superior quality, high performance and accurate equipment.

Introducing WeatherLink  Live

OK, let’s focus on WeatherLink Live, the system that enables Davis’ exceptional weather stations to connect effortlessly to the internet via either WIFI or Ethernet.

Connecting your Davis station to the web will allow you to access your station wirelessly using the WeatherLink Live app or the Davis website to view real-time updates of recorded data. Another powerful feature of WeatherLink Live is its compatibility with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and third-party services like Weather Underground.

Benefits of WeatherLink  Live

  • Access real-time data anywhere at any time: See your data on the WeatherLink Cloud via any internet-enabled device.

  • Free website and App: Use the FREE * WeatherLink website and mobile App to view, share and analyse your data.

  • Impressive transmission distance: WeatherLink Live boasts an industry-leading transmission distance of 300m, ensuring you can dependably receive data.

  • Live data: Use the WeatherLink App to watch weather changes as they occur. Wind speed and direction update every 2.5 seconds and rain total and rain rate every 10 seconds.

  • Integrated Sensors: WeatherLink Live has built-in sensors for barometric pressure, indoor temperature and indoor humidity. Even if you connect to an outdoor station without using an indoor console, you won’t miss out on indoor temperature information.

  • Connection Versatility: Connect your WeatherLink Live to the internet via WIFI or the included 1.5m ethernet cable.

  • Smart home compatible: Connect your data to smart irrigation systems or other IoT smart home devices.

  • Share your data: Share your collected weather data with third party services such as Weather Underground and the Citizen Weather Observer Program.

  • Build a network: Configure a custom network of over 80 sensors on eight transmitters so you can see data from sensors in the garden, by the pool, out in the garage, and down in the wine cellar – all with one WeatherLink
