Our scientists are often asked about how to access the battery compartment on the T110 Tank Sender Unit, so they decided to create this short guide that explains how to do it as seamlessly as possible.

How to Open the Battery Compartment on the T110 Tank Sender Unit for Aquatel Tank Level Indicator
Opening the T110 Tank Sender Unit and Installing Batteries
You will need four AA batteries to operate the T110 Tank Sender Unit.
- Pull to remove the top lid.
- Twist the remaining lid so that the antenna port touches the edge.
Locked: Antenna port in the centre
Unlocked: Antenna port touching the edge
- Pull to remove the lid. Note: As there is an o-ring keeping the unit watertight, this action can be moderately difficult.
- Insert four AA batteries.
- Replace the lid. Ensure the antenna port is touching the edge as it was before removal.
- Go around the outside of the lid pressing down to ensure the cover is below the o-ring. You should not be able to see the black o-ring.

- Twist the cap to tighten. The antenna port should now sit in the middle.
- Carefully replace the top cover and ensure it clicks back into place.
