Kestrel Anemometers 5000 Range
The 5000 series of Kestrel Anemometers are designed for professional and semi-professional use. These portable handheld meters incorporate features usually found in much larger weather monitoring devices without forgoing precision and reliability.
There are three options for viewing data from any 5000 series anemometer on a smartphone or a computer:
- Kestrel 5000 to Mobile: “Link-enabled” means a device in the Kestrel 5000 series can wirelessly transmit data straight to a mobile application on your phone (Apple and Android).
- Kestrel 5000 to Computer (Wireless): To wirelessly send data to a computer for review, you will need both a LiNK-enabled Kestrel 5000; and the Kestrel LiNK dongle (sold separately).
- Kestrel 5000 to Computer (Wired): The Kestrel USB data transfer cable interfaces any Kestrel 5000 with a computer to view data using the LiNK software. You will need a Kestrel USB Data Transfer Cable for 5000 Series (sold separately).
