Types of Monnit ALTA Wireless Sensors
Our scientists have listed over 40 wireless sensors made by Monnit that measure 30 different parameters. Each type of Monnit ALTA Wireless sensor will have at least one of the three sensor categories determined by how the device is powered. These are:
1. Coin cell (CC): These are the smallest sensor type – powered by coin cell batteries. |

2. Double-A (AA): Mid-sized devices and the most popular sensor type – powered by AA batteries. |

Wireless Standard Temperature Sensors
The ALTA Wireless Temperature Sensors use an NTC thermistor to measure temperature. The sensors are accurate to ± 1° C.
Humidity Sensors
ALTA Wireless Humidity Sensors monitor relative humidity within a room or enclosure. This solution is widely used for monitoring humidity in greenhouses, industrial spaces, museums, and saunas. Also found in homes to monitor humidity to prevent conditions that attract mould, mildew, or dust mites.

Wireless G-Force Max-Avg Accelerometer
The G-Force Max/Avg sensor measures the maximum and average g-force values along the X, Y, and Z axes. Custom Delta values allow you to set thresholds that will trigger the sensor to report that a threshold is exceeded. Configurable data rates allow more samples to be collected for every measurement, with higher data rates resulting in faster reaction time. The data reported is useful for tracking periodic motion and event detection.
